The NCC, all over the country aims at instilling in students a spirit of discipline and a
willingness to serve the country. Both girls and boys can get themselves admitted to the NCC at
the beginning of each academic year. The cadets are given regular training in the College.
Certificate Examinations are held and merit certificates awarded. The cadets who cleares 'C' and
'B' Certificate Examinations are eligible for credit (grace marks) according to their grade when
they apply for admission to higher studies and service in the armed forces. Uniforms and
refreshments are supplied free.
Lt.Dr. Rani S. Pillai is the ANO of the NCC Sub-Unit (Army Wing).
To create a Human Resource of organised, trained and motivated youth and to provide Leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the Nation.
To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed
forces.
The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook, the
spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.
