Established in 1998 with Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the under graduate level and later in 2014 M.Com programme was started at the Post Graduate level. The department is committed in imparting quality education to all students along with building up competencies in taking up career in and outside the country. Apart from academic exercises, the department offers opportunities to students to organise and conduct different entrepreneurship development activities in and outside the institution. Over a period of more than two decades, the department could establish its name in the world of business and corporate sector as an excellent source of bright prospective recruits. The department has an excellent placement record in high profile corporate. The able guidance, commitment and dedication of seven faculty members found fruitful in keeping the department an ideal one. A total of 150 students are undergoing UG programme and 35 for the Post Graduate programme.
The academic programme consists of classroom teaching, tutorials, seminars, interactive sessions, assignments, projects and internships with firms and NGOs. The students of the department also have a high success rate in management and other competitive examinations. The department has an excellent track record in extra-curricular activities such as sports, NCC, NSS and in various cultural programmes and events.
