This programme has been envisaged as a sought-after course to cater to the growing human resource requirements of the travel and tourism industry, which is one of the largest economic sectors in the world. Being the first college in the state that started a tourism degree programme under the university stream, Pazhassiraja college has the expertise and support in honing the skills of the students to get a professional career in the global tourism sector. Developing critical thinking abilities, skill enhancement, personality development, etc. are the prime focuses of the programme. In addition to the All India tour, students are also given on-the-job training in the tourism industry.
