The New year of Malayalaam, 'Chingam1' is celebrated as KERALA KARSHAKA DINAM ( Farmers Day) throughout Kerala. Department of Vocational Studies (Agriculture) celebrated the day in order to show respect towards farmers. A Seminar was conducted, a class on General Agriculture was handled by Mr. Amal Vijay( Agriculture Officer). In addition to this various activities were organised by the department. Students of B.Voc Agriculture conducted a FACE PAINITING and VEGETABLE CRAVING comptetion.

World Food Safety Day is observed every year on June 7 to draw attention and mobilise action to prevent, detect and manage foodborne risks and improve human health. This year’s World Food Safety Day highlights the theme “Safer food, better health.” Safe food is essential to human health and well-being and is one of the most critical guarantors for good health. Department of B.Voc Food Science conducted an inter-department Quiz on World food safety day at Chithrashala, Pazhassiraja College.

A three-day Agro-Food Fest 2k21, Know your farmer, Know your food was conducted by the Department of Vocational Studies, Pazhassiraja College from 21 December 2021 to 23 December 2021.

International webinar on "Cross Tolerance and Autoimmunity in Plants: A Perspective towards Secondary Metabolic Engineering" and " Transgenics in Agriculture: Prospects and Issues"

The aim of this outlet opening was to provide nutritional products to the college students and faculty members. The products were developed in the food science laboratory itself. Students are looking forward to develop new products in the lab as well as to open counter on alternative days during lunch hour.
